Specific Prescription and Zone Signs

Specific prescription signs inform users that certain behaviours are required or prohibited and include lane selection signs (E1 to E3), lane assignment signs (F1 and F2) and zone signs (G1 to G9). The indication of a destination must always be associated with the indication of the number of the road that serves it and must be written in brackets when access to that destination is not direct. The zone sign must be placed at all access points to the area to be regulated, and all exits, with the exception of the no-traffic zone, must be marked with the corresponding end-of-zone sign, which may be placed on the left-hand side of the road.

	F1a - Application of prescription to traffic lane Indication of the application of prescriptions or indications to one or more lanes of traffic, the sign being represented over the arrow indicating the lane to which it applies.
	G1 - Authorized parking area Indication of entry into an area where parking is authorized.
	E1 - Destinations on the itinerary Indication of the traffic lanes to be used by vehicles going to the destinations indicated on the sign. Note: This sign may only be used above the road, and the vertical defined by the arrowhead on it must be centered in relation to the traffic lane it affects.
	E2 - Outbound destinations Indication of the start of a traffic lane for vehicles using an exit. Note: This sign can only be used above the kerb at the beginning of the exit road.
	F1b - Application of prescription to traffic lane Indication of the application of prescriptions or indications to one or more lanes of traffic, the sign being represented over the arrow indicating the lane to which it applies.
	G2a - No parking area Indication of entry into an area where parking is prohibited.
	E3 - Side Selection Signal Indication of the traffic lanes to be used by vehicles going to the destinations indicated on the sign. Note: This sign can only be used when there are two traffic queues in the same direction.
	F1c - Application of prescription to traffic lane Indication of the application of prescriptions or indications to one or more lanes of traffic, the sign being represented over the arrow indicating the lane to which it applies.
	G2b - No parking area Indication of entry into an area where parking is prohibited.
	G3 - Prohibited stopping and parking area Indication of entry into an area where stopping and parking are prohibited.
	F2 - Transit lane reserved for public transport vehicles Indication of a traffic lane reserved for regular public passenger transport vehicles, taxis, vehicles that travel on a rescue mission or urgent service of public interest, properly indicating their march, and vehicles on a police mission.
	G4 - Limited Speed Zone Indication of entry into an area where the maximum speed is limited to that indicated on the signal.
	G4a - Zone 30 km/h Indication of entry into a 30 km/h zone where traffic calming devices are applied in order to limit the maximum speed of traffic to 30 km/h.
	G5a - No-Traffic Zone Indication of entry into an area where traffic is prohibited to all or only to the vehicles represented on the sign.
	G5b - No-Transit Zone Indication of entry into an area where traffic is prohibited to all or only to the vehicles represented on the sign.
	G5c - Low Emission Zone (ZER) Indication of entry into an area where the transit of vehicles whose emissions are higher than a level defined on an additional panel is prohibited.
	G6 - End of authorized parking zone Indication that the area in which parking was authorized has ended.
	G7a - End of prohibited stopping and parking zone Indication that the area in which stopping and parking were prohibited has ended.
	G7b - End of stop zone and parking prohibited Indication that the area in which stopping and parking were prohibited has ended.
	G8 - End of Limited Speed Zone Indication that the speed limitation imposed by the G4 signal has ended.
	G9 - End of all prohibitions imposed in the area Indication that all prohibitions previously imposed in the area have ended.
	G10 - End of zone 30 km/h Indication that the 30 km/h zone has ended.
	G11 - End of Low Emission Zone (ZER) Indication that the low emission zone has ended.
