Light Signalling

Traffic can also be regulated by means of light signals. The light signalling intended to regulate the traffic of vehicles consists of a system of three circular, non-flashing lights, with the colours red, yellow, and green.
Failure to comply with the obligation to stop imposed by the red traffic regulation light constitutes a very serious administrative offence, which can be punished with an additional sanction of disqualification from driving, and may also constitute a crime.
